I agree with you that Clinton was no paragon of virtue. Neither were the three men who went after him in the Senate--they were all involved in extramarital affairs while they were prosecuting Bill for Monica. That's some really special hypocrisy there.

It's now 25 years later. Me Too has happened. Women are not merely sitting back and taking it any longer. The Party of Trump ignores this social change at their own risk.

Progressive men tend to believe that if they pander, and do it publicly (online), that they will be shielded from anything like a false accusation. They think their pandering is a shield. It's not a shield.

I've been waiting for someone to bring up Bill Clinton again. One thing that has occurred to me several times is that in the age of #metoo, Clinton probably would not have become the Democrat nominee, let alone gone to the White House. It's time to stop pointing at him and using his behavior to excuse these other men.

Decent behavior is a shield.

I think there is a democrat party directive to delegitimize and demonize white men specifically. anyone who denies this is a fact isn't being honest.

Considering how much the Democratic Party tries to pander to "women voters" (see Hillary Clinton's campaign) is it really that far-fetched an assertion?

I think there is a Trump Party directive to delegitimize and demonize sexual abuse victims. And it starts right at the top of the party. Anyone who denies this fact isn't being honest.
