It says "no warrants shall issue but upon probable cause", if you effect a warrantless search it need not be based on PC alone.

Someone explain the difference to me of getting searched before walking into a stadium my taxes paid for and getting searched on a sidewalk my taxes paid for?

If you are entering a stadium, that is a private entity, not a government sidewalk.
