"Among the many unfortunate results of Warren’s recent DNA test suggesting she’s somewhere between 1/64th and 1/1,024th Native American by ethnicity: It inevitably draws attention to her contribution to the ’80s cookbook, “Pow Wow Chow: A Collection of Recipes from Families of the Five Civilized Tribes.” Under “Elizabeth Warren, Cherokee,” it lists five recipes, three of which were apparently cribbed from the New York Times and Better Homes and Gardens."
"Worse, one of the recipes she submitted: “Crab with Tomato Mayonnaise Dressing.” A traditional Cherokee dish with mayonnaise, a 19th-century condiment imported by settlers? A crab dish from landlocked Oklahoma? This can mean only one thing: canned crab."
Sorry, but Sen. Warren is just picking up where Hillary Clinton left off. She's an ambitious woman who will resort to any means to further her career and if this includes white and not so white lies, so be it.

As an East Coaster I can say that someone from Oklahoma has no business even talking about crabs.
Warren ought to just say she got carried away with "family stories" and she is now wiser after the DNA test. Throw out some "We are all great in our own way" rhetoric and this would go away.

Yes, cause drilling down on a lie is the way to go. LOL!
Warren has been dishonest about this from the beginning. Let's say she truly thought one distant relative was of Native American ancestry, she was not raised as a Native American and culturally is not Native American. Identifying herself as Cherokee, particularly in the work-place and to receive preferential treatment in this situation is dishonest.

THAT'S where she made a BIG mistake. Both Penn and Harvard counted her as a minority in their faculty diversity reports. There's no coming back from that.
If Trump had a DNA test it would be 50% Russian and 50% KKK.
