I think Americans from both sides of the aisle are pretty much over the divisiveness in Washington.
I disagree. We've had two years of Republicans controlling everything, and years before that of Republicans preventing legislation from passing.

We elected Democrats in the house to put a stop to Republican legislation, and to punish those who have done wrong.

We're not tired of it, we're waiting for it to begin.

That could be the grist for the articles of impeachment.

The GOP is just as culpable in this.

Because all these vindictive actions is going to improve American lives

Two years and they still can get over the fact they lost, and to pour salt on the wound, Trump has achieved more than the Democrats could ever imagine. I can see why they're still bitter and furious. Democrats won the House, but have no legislation power without the Senate; they're rendered useless in passing their unpopular policies. So, instead of working with the Republicans, lets just waist time with meaningless impeachments.

You can impeach as many as you want. They will still all be at work the next day. The Senate has the sole power to remove someone from office.

It's a great way to tie the Senate into knots.

I agree. Dems would be smarter to focus on 2020 and put aside all the hostility towards Trump. But I don't see this happening.

Impeachment serves no purpose, it will just tick off independents who want to see something done, just like it did when Repubs tried to impeach Clinton. The house can impeach anybody they wish but the Senate will stop it in its tracks so it will do nothing but gain those impeached support from their base and independents. Some don't seem to understand that the House cannot successfully impeach on its own.
