The right was/is disgustingly nasty to Michelle Obama on a scale that far outpaces the treatment that Melania Trump receives.
Don't base your opinions upon what I perceive to be a few disgusting nasty people. Of course some people treatment her poorly and some were outright racist against her but most conservatives I know did not.

As long as both sides think they are right and justified to keep the heat up and have blind loyalty to their side the temp will not go down. And the radicals on both sides actually believe this nonsense.
Not sure because no one agrees anymore on what reality is. One side sees trump as a lying grifter at best, a traitor at worst. The other side sees him as the second coming who does no wrong.
As another poster pointed out, this is the Internet, not real life so opinions are magnified larger than what the might really be.
There won’t be a civil war, but there will be unrest for a few years. Once trump is gone the focal point is gone and that group of followers will splinter.
It is Obama's fault.....
