Discarded tissue is not "a class of human beings." It's tissue.

Good grief, the stupidity in this country is embarrassing sometimes.

I got a haircut the other day and they just threw the hair in the trash. Imagine, throwing all those humans in the trash - what a travesty!

It is sick. And it's even more sick that some on here think burying a dead baby is "sentimental nonsense". To those who do not value life, of course it's nothing but a "clump of cells". To people who value innocent lives, the life deserves a respectable burial, not dumped in the garbage or used for research. Disgusting.

How do you feel about the use of cord blood for stem cell research? How about organ donation? Is it okay for someone to donate his or her entire body to medical research?

Illogical, burying it in the ground does nothing but soothe your emotional discomfort, where as using it for research actually helps living people. It is just as dead either way.

Burial is for mourning relatives, not for the deceased. An aborted fetus generally does not have any mourning relatives. So what use do you get from putting into the ground where the bugs and worms will consume it?

I do value life, which is why I want to give scientists the tools at their disposal to cure diseases that afflict the living.

If the mother (who aborts the fetus) wants to bury it - be my guest. But if she leaves it to her doctor (like 99.9% of women will do) then by all means, let's put it to use.

I'm all for burying dead babies. Not so much discarded tissue, though, especially when it can be of value to actual living, breathing human beings. Do you bury your fingernail clippings? They are as much a baby as this discarded tissue is.

Why is the use of fetal tissue sick? It's way better than experimenting on poor defenseless animals.
