I thought this was the oddest thing ever. I guess they were making a point? If I was her I don't think I would have agreed to it. Why open yourself up to that kind of scrutiny all over again?
And with many responses here, you wonder why women don’t come forward. Pretty disgusting
She "came forward" with unsubstantiated, uncorroborated claims that were 36 years old. Every witness she named either refuted her claim directly or said they had no memory of ever being at the event in question. She had exactly no proof whatsoever, and every single prosecutor who analyzed the hearings unanimously said they wouldn't have tried to prosecute her flimsy, amorphous claims.
Basically, she was a pawn in an engineered smear campaign that failed. Her claims against Kavanaugh were fictitious (as are all fantasies that cannot be proven) and her handlers dumper her the minute Kavanaugh got confirmed, same as the "several women" who accused Hermain Cain back in 2008 all disappeared the instant he dropped out of the primaries. Pawns, all of them.
And Ford is now media darling who gets speaker fees and free stuff for her "courage" to be Feinstein's bludgeon. Her life improved by running game for Feinstein, so she's no hero, no martyr, no saint. She's a well compensated apparatchik of Democrat #metoo nonsense. And she set the cause of women speaking out backwards at last a few years, if not decades. She became the clown face of the false accusation, thus adding a bit of delegitimizing to every claim from every woman who does come forward.
In time, I wouldn’t be surprised if Hollywood got a hold of Christine what’s her names story,
