I know bankers personally extending terms. Can't divulge bank names or people, obviously.

Its conditional on the person with a mortgage staying with the federal job. They also had to be up to date just before shutdown.

tRump's shutdown is the move of a desperate man who has no way forward.

It'll fail and ultimately weaken him even more.

An unpopular president taking a highly unpopular action to try to force his wall that most Americans don't want and he promised Mexico would pay for.

What a deal maker.

Default Government Shutdown My Thoughts

This is not the first time Government has shutdown due to budget reasons.

Now if government was actually serious about the budget they would have balanced or gotten there houses in order and not do this every year and just pass whatever. Democrats had a really good chance even with republicans controlling the house to work with the President, but they choose not be apart of the economic changes and the low employment and actually fought him on every turn.

Congress is completely in charge of funding the government, says so in the constitution.
They fund every government project, war and spending you can think of.

While Congress has spent billions on the WALL and border security of which they never have completed and still much more is to be done. What is funny is Democrats LOVE to spend money on Government jobs and yet here are more resources to support jobs yet they stand in the way.

Democrats funded the wall when they were in power over and over.
So I will say its clear this shutdown is really about political reasons we are fighting over 5 billion.

Giving TRUMP a wall for the democrats is bad for their radical leftist who love open borders, drugs and mexican voting blocks.

What is interesting is we have 800,000 government workers not getting paid because government can't agree to fund a wall. A wall WE ALREADY HAVE and in many places and large parts of TEXAS are open.

The Illegal Immigration Reform and Immigration Responsibility Act, which Clinton signed into law in 1996, authorized the fortification of that fencing.

Nancy do us all a favor put the American people back to work, AMERICAN government workers back to work and stop protecting mexicans and other people who illegally cross the border and break our laws.

Thanks signed Tax paying American.

hmmmm...

What a load of baloney.

Seems to be what Limbaugh/Coulter/Hannity told you to think.

Just the same hyperpartisan nonsense they've been peddling for years.

Carry on.

It seems to be what many people think and told Limbaugh/Coulter/Hannity to message about.

Trump has stated the wall would cost $4-22 billion and everything in between.

Trump has stated it would be made out of concrete and rebar.

Trump has said Mexico would pay for it.

Where is the plan?

How many feet of wall are we talking about? Where will the wall be?

How much private land must be seized by Eminent Domain? How much will this cost, including litigation and appeals? How long will this take?

What is the height and depth of the wall?

How much of the wall will be below grade?

What is the composistiin of the wall?

How many phases?

How long will it take to finish the wall?

What is the projected annual cost to maintain and repair the wall?

What is the projected useful life of the wall?

No bank or private capital would consider lending $ billions without a well vetted plan. Yet, it seems Congress is expected to do so.

Where is the plan?

Okay, so your thoughts aren't objective at all. Highly partisan. There's a couple of shutdown threads in various forms. Mainly the sticky at the top. Not sure why you needed a brand new thread to bestow your opinion on us. And here I thought I'd open this and see an analysis from both perspectives.

You can make it happen by agreeing with the truth. No reason to hesitate and bloviate.

Ok so what is Nancy's reason then. Suddenly the symbol of American is the statue of liberty of WHICH no mexican every sees on the border or a WALL. What mexicans see is FREE stuff and access to a better life. That is all good and all BUT how about just coming in legally. WHY do they not do it the right way, because they can JUST WALK IN that is way. Just like someone going to your backroom which you leave wide open and then starts eating your food, sleeping in your bed and then doing whatever they want in your house. I guess as an American I kinda view this country as MY country, my house and not just a open policy of anyone comes here has a right to my house. Maybe if they werent busy sneaking in and living off the resources of American tax payers we could consider a few thousand here and there but when its millions now its out of control. While those who REALLY come here legally I respect, they protected as an American and really respect Right and Wrong and our laws.

The moral code of Democrats is votes and the illusion your helping the poor but most of these so called poor are just FREELOADERS and some of them ACTUALLY looking for work. The same people who use these same poor and NO Constitutional rights working the fields of the American and cleaning bathrooms with no benefits, no rights but Nancy knows best and the Democrat party who has to many socialist, SJW in the party to get ahead of COMMON SENSE border security.

I will tell you this, Criminals in this country love the border just the way it is. Ripe for human trafficking, drugs and who knows what else. Democrats love it for a voting block of people who want free government welfare and them protecting every last one of them. I'm done accepting illegal immgrantion as POSITIVE results. They are not benefiting america and would rather have 10 million legal Mexicans then 10 million illegals.
