You think Trump will do something so stupid and harmful to both the country and his ratings again? I don't. I see him declaring the national emergency. That will go nowhere fast in the courts and Trump is likely out of office before it is fully resolved. In the meantime, his base gives him credit for trying and he is off the hook.
I don't either. He's going to do a short term deal, and give his stupid speech, or go to Florida to play golf and then come back and start fighting all over again.
People totally underestimate the size and insecurity of Trump's ego. But, if he declares a national emergency, his ratings will be in the basement.
This man is an affront to the nation. He is opening the government so he can give a speech and feel important and golf. Many are well aware of this.

Liberals hate when you bring up the truth and old history. If Obama was still in office and told them it was good, they'd all be in line to get it built.
First it was going to be at 1pm. Then 1:30. It's after 2pm now.
So maybe it was all a prank.
Maybe LaGuardia shutting down, and less than half the IRS workers showing up, etc. wasn't enough to get this shakedown ended.
