I have personally known people whose child was born with spina bifida and lived a relatively normal life. Doctor's are only guessing and quite often they guess WRONG. This disorder is NOT something like anencephaly where the baby is born WITHOUT A BRAIN (which incidentally, I worked with a lady at a chiropractor's office in 1985 who's baby was born with THIS disorder and lived to 6 years old and would have lived longer if she had not fallen victim to medical malpractice which inadvertently ended her life).
So....the "non-viable" argument does not hold water.
If you know people who have a child born with spina bifida, then you should take a moment to find out more about spina bifida, and how there are different degrees of spina bifida. In some cases a person can live a relatively normal life. In more serious cases, they cannot.
That woman is the perfect example of NY late abortion law. Her twin was aborted but she was left. When her mother went into labor it would have been a surprise and the doctor would preform an abortion when her mother said she didn't want her. Just before birth of a healthy baby-----well healthy until they messed her up doing her twin's abortion.
I say again----could anything be more evil?
That's a stupid assertion. When her mother went into labor she would have been born. YOU DON'T EVEN UNDERSTAND WHAT AN ABORTION IS from what you are posting. And that's pathetic.

And yet, she will continue posting lies and misrepresentations because her argument falls apart if she goes by facts. The dumbest part about this whole thing, is the people who have been shown over and over again, exactly where and how they are wrong, yet they still cling to the falsehoods and post them as facts.

Psst... if a baby is born without a brain, what are we keeping alive?
None of those "beautiful people" would have been affected by law in NY or anywhere else. The law applies to non-viable fetuses. You do know what non-viable means???
Would you really force a woman to carry a baby to term when that baby had no brain and would only die after birth?
Over 1,000 posts and people are still spouting this lie. Do you think you are fooling anyone?
"An unborn baby has been removed from its mother’s womb for treatment then put back, in a groundbreaking operation.
The procedure was carried out on Bethan Simpson’s child after tests revealed it had spina bifida.
The 26-year-old nurse from Burnham, Essex, in the UK, and her husband Kieron had been given the option to terminate the pregnancy before they learned of the procedure.
“I feel our baby kick me day in and day out, that’s never changed. She’s extra special, she’s part of history and our daughter has shown just how much she deserves this life.”
If insured, does the insurance pay for the family to travel along with the mom, or does the doctor have to come to where the mom is?
