Storing up their energy to be outraged and the first to share said outrage over the next hoax.

i thought i recalled reading it was 12 detectives. surely not the entire force.
in any case, too many. but if they had only used a more reasonable number, like two or three, the shrieks of 'racism!' would have been through the roof.

This clown will walk. Probation, fines, maybe a house arrest. At worst, 30 days in jail. Which he'll serve 11. He's getting off easy.
And his career will bounce back.

I think he'd do well in jail. He'll be passed around like poker chips at the high stakes table.

Actually, I'd like to see an episode where his character pretends he's attacked by Trump supporters because he's black and gay, files a fake police report, and is outed, only to be canned by his employer. He then moves away due to the shame of it all and that's the end of that.

I don't watch the show but would tune into those episodes.

Media sources were reporting twelve but the Second City Cop said it was twenty.

he also lied to the FBI. I hear people can go to jail for that. I know liberals really hate that stuff.

The one prosecutor recused herself because she didn't want to be seen "tearing down Jussie" by some of her base which is in one of the few parts of Chicago that feel he's innocent no matter what.

She knows he's going to jail, she doesn't want to have it potentially hurt her politically.

P.S. And that doesn't even include the feds if they're able to pin the letter on him.
Wouldn’t something like this bode well for her? She’s upholding the rights of the taxpayers and residents by punishing someone wasting resources of their already very busy criminal justice machine.

I think it’s a major cop out and that just might hurt her more than actually doing her job.

If she has a familiarity with anyone involved, then she was right to recuse. Barring any personal relationship, it’s a bad move.

I don’t know
I could see an entire new reality series with him as the star
“Jesse Does Time”
Or
“Down in the Tiers w/Jesse”
Or
“Countdown to Release”
