Your side loves to bring up how horrible it will be to potentially raise taxes for illegals, but you totally ignore the massive monster debt that is hanging over all of our heads. Trump has done zilch to reduce that burdon, but has, instead, made it even a bigger problem.
Not even close....the topic is not about the current debt, it's about providing health care for illegals....will it add to that debt, yes...still not the topic....

Republican President Ronald Reagan signed the bill which requires hospitals to provide healthcare for illegals. This was in 1986 and is still in effect. This is a GOP law. Don't try to blame it on the Democrats.

Many of the 'illegals' that you are referencing pay taxes. If we offered them a path to citizenship or legal status they would have a legal right to that healthcare.

The reason they ignore that fact is because every action taken by either party is an action that contributes to a process. But that action is mostly viewed as a single isolated event, that is how the opposite party can exploit it and take control of the message, for example, "Democrats only care about illegals."
It would be beneficial for all to target the process, which both parties participate in, but that is never going to happen because it takes too much time, too much compromise, too much learning about each other. The goal is to win the presidency and they are going to do that taking a different direction that is faster.
My solution is to make socialized services a local decision or state decision rather than a federal law. Then make transportation accessible across the United States so that people can easily move to those areas. People are pretty creative and if they need more resources or if they need to make access to resources more efficient, they will find a way to do it.
