I don't know one person who has not regretted an action, statement, or other event that they did not regret. In most cases those people have learned from their mistakes. We should examine our own past before we begin pointing our fingers at others.

If he were a Republican, it would have been plastered all over the headlines on newspapers and newsreels as Virginia "REPUBLIC GOVERNOR" Ralph Northam...but media coverage in liberal enclaves such as the NYTs and the NYDN are keeping the headline ambiguous enough to not include that in a discussion. I had to look up what party he was affiliated with

I sympathize with black people offended by this man's costume. As a jew, I would find Halloween costumes of a concentration camp prisoner and a german commandant beyond the pale.
Perhaps if Northam was 15 years old he could be forgiven for his youthful ignorance for wearing black face and being pictured with a KKK costumed companion. Usually, I am against trashing someone's stupidity for long past social media indiscretions. but in this case, he was a 25 year old adult when he chose this costume and was smart enough and old enough to understand its significance.

Ah, but see, he won't have to resign. The media obviously had this story before the election and sat on it. So now there can be all this hand-wringing and calls to resign from Democrat candidates, but it's all posturing. Nothing will happen, and they know it. Northam pushes infanticide now, so he's in. Total double standard.
