Lots of emotional rants in this thread.....not a whole lot of substance.

AOC does bring about something in the opposition. It is fascinating. Are they giving her more credit than her own party.

It's stunning to see a newscast that delivers her ideas without laughing hysterically. But I saw the local ABC "news" do exactly that, treated it like a regular item.....just amazing and a display of lib media at work.

Laugh at her at your own risk. She is a force to be reckoned with regarding progressive and younger voters. She is already exposing corruption and foul play in congress, and she is going to keep pushing. She is not afraid of anyone and she is much better at Twitter than Trump.

People have been screaming for years about draining the swamp, corruption in Congress, self-enrichment, and now there are people in Congress who want to put a stop to it but the conservatives seem upset about it.

I think she is going a long way, so you better get used to it. Here come the millennials.

"...Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-N.Y.) exposed some of the biggest flaws and loopholes in campaign finance laws this week ― and she did it in just five minutes.

...During a hearing, the freshman lawmaker created a game in which she pretended to be “a really, really bad guy” who wants to abuse the system as much as possible. Then, in a series of questions, she exposed the world of payoffs, dark money, PACs and more. She even revealed how it was perfectly legal for a lawmaker to invest in an industry, then write laws to benefit that industry and increase the value of the investment...

And as lax as the laws are for members of Congress, there are even fewer restrictions for a president..."

i.e. "I know that O-C's plan is one of the stupidest things I've ever seen written by a politician. But because I'm Democrat no matter how crazy they become, all I can do now is attack anyone else who calls it out.".

She’ll be doing it herself soon. You can bet on it.

That's because there is no substance with AOC's "Green Deal", it's a big joke.

We are laughing our heads off at her.

And now...... She's deleted her "green deal" from her website.

There's no way you are going to polish this turd including conjuring up the mythical "young progressive" boogman. They want good jobs and a great economy too. The things that Trump is delivering to them.
