What hypocrites the left are. They are even more obsessed with Trump.....it isn't healthy! They can't stop posting about him day in and day out in here. Very odd. Talk about the pot calling the kettle black, duh.

This damned dope is dumb as a rock. She said she’s going to end air travel.

What kind of people elected this loonbrain? What kind of people made up a district that would offer this embarrassment as their representative to Congress? She is the ultimate hater of everything free and good, and she is a thief and a vicious scoundrel for proposing the most anti-American policy platform ever documented. I want names, and I want them now. Who picked this?

She's also a racist of which the left claims they object to and also claim that the right are the racist ones. Just how racist is it of her to say that Latinos should be exempt from our immigration laws or any laws for that matter? Why aren't they calling her out for her racism? Hypocricy rules with the left.

Anyway, she took that document down off her website. Probably because idiots are misrepresenting what she said. The FAQ does not say elimination of air travel. What she said was specifically this:

"build out highspeed rail at a scale where air travel stops becoming necessary"

She never said "eliminate". And she never said "all air travel". And she never said anything about international travel. Obviously any moron knows a rail can't cross the ocean. The fact is that if we had a decent bullet train, that absolutely would replace air travel for a lot of people.

At 200 MPH on a bullet train I could get to LA in under 2 hours. I would be doing that in a heart-beat rather than take a flight on an airline. It's the same amount of time as a flight when you factor in having to get to the airport an hour before your flight. And anything is worth not having to deal with TSA. So yeah, for me that flight would be UNNECESSARY.

Could she have expressed the "UNNECESSARY" thing better? Yup. Anything that right-whiners can intentionally twist the meaning of, they will. She's young, but she'll learn that lesson. Mark my words, she will eventually become a force to be reckoned with.
No I don't think that, as you know, but I agree with AOC. She knows the official resolution doesn't go into the "nuts and bolts" hence she issued her additional document to add the detail. She removed it because it was comical and no doubt Nancy gave her a good talking to. Very embarrassing for her.

And yes the FAQ does say "get rid of" of airplanes - so necessarily there can be no air travel without airplanes. Are you suggesting that get rid of doesn't mean eliminate?

There are over 100,000 domestic flights in the US everyday. No, high speed rail will never eliminate the need for air travel. You know that, yet you defend her gibberish. Why?

Trump is delivering criminals, by way of his employee's indictments, self-enrichment by abusing the Constitution, involved in corruption, money laundering and abuse of power. That is why he is at 40%. He is not popular and he is corrupt. Plain and simple.

AOC will be in Washington DC long after Trump departs, voluntarily or not.
This thread is about AOC not Trump. Do you agree with her? You seems to like to defend her. Maybe you think we can build tracks over the ocean? Lol. Have some self respect. You are as bad as the republicans who defend their space walkers.

Stop lying already. She didn't say that. Here's what she said.

"We set a goal to get to net-zero, rather than zero emissions, in 10 years because we aren’t sure that we’ll be able to fully get rid of farting cows and airplanes that fast, but we think we can ramp up renewable manufacturing and power production, retrofit every building in America, build the smart grid, overhaul transportation and agriculture, plant lots of trees and restore our ecosystem to get to net-zero."

So why aren't you whining about getting rid of cows?
Answer: Because it was rhetoric and you damn well know it. Nowhere in that document did she call for getting rid of planes or cows. If that's what you think, then you have issues.

Oh I see, she was being morally correct, not factually correct. Is that it?

Otherwise, thankyou for confirming the accuracy of my post.

Sorry, it is you who are lying, dissembling, deceiving, covering up, acting like a minion.

Here is exactly what she said, which means perhaps, or exactly, that it is you who has the "issues".

Quote:
Totally overhaul transportation by massively expanding electric vehicle manufacturing. build charging stations everywhere, build out highspeed rail at a scale where air travel stops becoming necessary. create affordable public transit available to all, with goal to replace every combustion-engine vehicle

No more planes, no more cars, no more trucks, internal combustion engines GONE! STUPID DAMNED BEOTCH. And THIS is the FACE of the DEMOCRAT PARTY. THIS is the BEST they can come up with.

THIS and the miserable aging biddy POCAEFFINGHONTAS, who wants to saddle Americans with a bloody WEALTH TAX, as if excessive income tax had not already been levied on those funds. She wants EVERY DAMNED DOLLAR A FAMILY CAN EARN.

This crazy beotch (both of them, but Occasional-Cortex here) is off her rocker, and by the way, the grammar and usage in her retard-class learning disabled ADD HDAD manifesto is utterly jumbled, like a huge steaming pile of cow dung, but then mixed with vomit, pizza, black mold, raisins, and a curiously excessive amount of marshmallows. A putrescent pastiche that, when looked at under black light, is a dead ringer for the spongy contents of AOCs skull (I won't insult the term by referring to it as a brain).

You are being obtuse, imo. Why can't you understand the bold? Air travel will ALWAYS be necessary until transporting cargo and people quickly will be unnecessary -- for example, as I said in another post, when "beaming" people and things is a reality and not just a Star Trek invention.

And, yes, perhaps she was referring to air travel being eliminated within continental borders, but then she should have said so. People are simply taking what she said at face value. If there is a mistake, it is because of what she said.

(If you have some kind of disability that prevents you from comprehending the meaning of a very simple sentence, then I apologize.)

And by the way, why did the Green Wet Dream FAQ disappear from her vapid website? Because someone in the back office with a 77 IQ glimpsed it and was heard screaming "what the eff!!".

Those planes that aren't going to be eliminated are sure going to struggle without their combustion engines.
