I know if I was German I would be very concerned about a critical resource being supplied by Russia. My next biggest concern would be the cost, Germans currently are paying about 35 cents per kWh. Prematurely phasing out power plants is necessarily a loss in capital investment and building natural gas plants to replace all of them on an accelrarate schedule is going to be quite a lot of expense up front. I wonder how high the cost per kWh will go?
