Carry on.

We are all the people in here who know that you have a tendency to lie. Don't you think it's odd that every single liberal in this thread paid more in taxes yet national statistics show the opposite to be true? Isn't it odd that every single liberal on CD is now paying significantly more in taxes, got less back on their returns and made a little less in income last year when the exact opposite has happened nationally?

Nothing up in smoke here in red state. In fact, several new bridges on state roads have just been built.

Best year for taxes ever.
Even with my deduction for property tax getting cut.
Thank you.

Do states really collect property taxes? I pay mine to the county.I live in a blue state and paid $450 for 2018. This has me very confused.

Mostly the very rich with very expensive homes and high property taxes.

I thought Democrats were all for Taxing the rich more ?
That's one of the benefits of the new tax program.
The very rich lose some of their deductions.

Thought you'd be happy about that.

SALT = State and Local Taxes. Pay to the county = local tax.

Your total tax owed is not about how much you paid or got back. Your take-home probably changed as well.

Agreed, I guess I didn't write that out correctly.

I have a tendency to poke fun at Trumpling hypocrisy.

And it upsets you to your core, compelling you to lash out with childish insults.

It's not odd at all.

Trumplings who are paying more will just suck it up and remain silent, because they continue to luxuriate in the tRump brand of hatred, which is why they continue to support him.

Anti-tRumpers who got a break will remain silent because they don't want to give him any credit.

Now that I've explained the obvious...

Caution! Cognitive dissonance warning.

Property taxes in Texas (1.83%).

In California they are quite a bit lower (0.77%).

You'd have to ask them if that is true. I can't speak for them since I am not a Dem. This tax change is hurting lot of middle class people, not just those you consider 'rich' (=those who pay > $10K in SALT).
