If they put up some far lefty and it appears that the dems have moved that way, if they do Trump will probably win. Most people are just not that far left. I think the dems are out of touch with the American public, at least the AOC types, but the rest of the current front runners seem to be of her ilk.

I'll never vote dem if that is the direction of the party. I'm most certainly not alone in this thinking.

What do I know, I'm one of the dreaded middle aged white guys.

He's on the side of the law, not on the side of the traitor.

Stay tuned.

Which is why the leftist politicians and RINOs will be exposed for their crimes.

Wait for it.

As he should be. He'll be a far cry better than Eric Holder or Jeff Sessions.

I don't click on links to possible leftist websites, but I think you're just peachy keen even though you're pulling my leg.

Oops, almost forgot.

Not so fast, Cheesemont. Only some of what we know is below. Apologies to all who understand the truths of the statements below, just felt Mr. Cheesy's post needed to be refuted.

President Trump's campaign and transition teams have been credibly suspected and accused of colluding with Russian agents to influence the US election in Trump's favor.

US intelligence agencies concluded in 2016 that Russia was behind an effort to tip the scales of the US election against Hillary Clinton, with a state-authorized campaign of cyber attacks and fake news stories planted on social media.

At least 12 Trump associates had contacts with Russians during the campaign or transition, according to an analysis of public records, with at least 19 face-to-face interactions with Russians or Kremlin-linked figures and at least 51 individual communications.
Trump aides known to have had contact with Russians include the president's son-in-law and adviser Jared Kushner, his son Donald Trump Jr, former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn, and the Attorney General Jeff Sessions. If not colluding or conspiring to wrongdoing, why all the deliberate lying to American citizens and investigators? Carry on Mr. Mueller.

Three Trump aides have now admitted lying about these encounters. WHY?

The special counsel has indicted more than 30 people, including five members of Mr Trump's campaign team or administration and 25 Russians, as well as three Russian companies.

Flynn pleaded guilty to lying to the FBI over meetings he had with Russian Ambassador Sergei Kislyak. WHY?

Michael Cohen admitted lying to Congress about a Trump real estate project in Moscow. WHY?
It included details about Michael Cohen's own contacts with "Russian interests" during the 2016 campaign, including one who said they were "trusted" in the Russian Federation and went on to suggest a meeting between Mr Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin. WHY did Trump lie throughout the campaign?

Thirteen Russians connected to the Internet Research Agency (IRA), a Russian "troll factory", were charged with spreading fake news stories through US social media. Among them was Yevgeny Prigozhin, an associate of Mr. Putin.

And 12 Russian intelligence officers were charged with hacking the Democratic National Committee, using spear phishing emails and malicious software.

Now the cuckoo dirty trickster Roger Stone is indicted....

Mueller has revealed crimes and most likely there will be more. The investigation is credible and needs to continue as any true patriot would want. Why aren't you one of them, Mr. Cheesemont?

Trump would rather allow the country to remain under attack from a foreign adversary and even choose them over our own intelligence agencies, our citizens and patriotic public servants who desire to protect our nation. There really is something wrong with this picture. WHY?

It does come down to the economy and Trump being a incumbent. The last 3 presidents seeking reelection won. The one who lost before them Bush 1 lost because the economy tanked. Same reason Carter lost.

But what it really comes down to is the swing states. Again its the EC not whatever poll you want to believe regarding Trump's approval.

Trump will simply come up with EO's and other things that benefit all the swing states. His whole focus in 2020 is making the swing state voters happy. Being the POTUS gives him huge advantages that those running against him lack. Trump will not hesitate using whatever he has at his disposal. Plus he can take world events and use them to his advantage. A popular bombing mission or small scale war against a universally hated adversary would also work.

I am saying this as a 3rd party voter. I would never vote for Trump or a DEM just giving my observation. Barring a huge crash in the economy or something of substance coming from the Mueller investigation Trump will be reelected.

When if ever will the right understand that the President has very little if anything to do with job growth or with the economy?
