The bartender may have called the police, he told her to chill out and she continued to mouth off and act like a belligerent idiot. He probably did not want to deal with ejecting her. She did give the police a hard time as well. So, this is just a case of a middle aged lady at the Mexican restaurant who couldn't hold her liquor using the offense of the day to spout off. Whatever her beef may have been, she caused a scene at the restaurant and had to go.
Embarrassing that a 40something year old woman was the immature idiot and the young man was the sensible one.
Many of these unhinged situations involve mature aged people going off on young people, even children, when they should be acting as role models for young people.

It's a gray area. I'm myself Portuguese and many Brazilians I know identify all over the place. It's not uncommon for them to talk of Hispanics as if they're the 'other' but then identify as Hispanics when it's convenient.
Given the number of public meltdowns over a hat it is newsworthy these days.
