Ya gotta feel sorry for NeverTrumpers.
Obviously, not a single one of them actually read the budget proposal, which did not do as the OP claimed.
Pavlov's dogs were smarter.

And that's a false claim, I already posted up thread where you can find the link and what page number you can find the cuts on.

It's page 117, by the way

That would be a drop in the bucket compared to what any of the current crop of democrats would take to support their beloved illegals or their kooky new deals.

I don't think we'll see Kibby back. Low energy. Sad.

If it wasn't for the fact that it would cause so much suffering among those who didn't vote Trump, I could almost hope the old farts with MAGA hats would get to enjoy their object lesson. Almost.
At least you didn't say white when you were denigrating an entire segment of the population. Baby steps.

Well, I agree that the meaning is obvious. I mean, if the other 48 of the 49 wealthiest democracies are doing things differently, and not one major political party in those 48 other wealthiest democracies sees our approach as being superior, shouldn't we concede to common sense and conclude that we are most likely on the wrong path? And that we are quite likely exaggerating the negative attributes of their way of doing things?

The assumption here, of course, being that you have absolute control over your fate and that no one is suffering due to structural flaws in the economy or shortcomings in how the country or world is being run.

Look at how our elected reps have no issue granting themselves pay raises, perks and benefits, passing laws that they snicker about behind closed doors because it will make them and their cronies wealthier. They feel entitled to the insider practice. Rangel leases a new Cadillac every year on the tax payer dime. He claims his constituents want him too. Same guy while head of the ways and means committee got caught cheating on his taxes and not just a little. The wealthiest representatives are democrats. Coincidence? I think not.

Our problems stem from people being taught to never look in the mirror and find someone else to blame. Look no further than Hillary. How many excuses has she made now for loosing and not one of them points at the obvious reason. Hillary lost because she was that bad. America lost because the DNC went all in and backed a dead horse.

Our seniors and truly disabled deserve our nations help and generosity. There are literally billions that can be cut from the defense budget and our security would not be impacted a bit. We waste so much money on foreign aid, on the UN, on redundant federal police agencies. Those police agencies with their petty squabbles and territorial behaviors all fighting for table scraps. Most people without looking it up have no idea what the Department of Energy does. 28 billion dollar budget.

The last choice should be cutting benefits for our seniors and truly disabled.
So, Trump is one who is known for not blaming others for his failures and shortcomings? He is known for taking responsibility for that sort of thing?

The cuts would be mostly in payments to hospitals, which would have a devastating impact on seniors' healthcare. These are the same seniors who would often demand that the government "keep their socialist hands off their Medicare."

In other words, don't think these myopic old bigots will see that they are cutting their noses off to spite their faces. They will dutifully line up in 2020 and vote straight R, even as that party is cutting them off at the knees. You can't fix stupid.

Our only hope is for these regressive old people to die off. And with this budget, Trump is trying his hardest to make that happen sooner rather than later.

That's not a tRump thing.

For decades, the GOP has wanted to END Medicare AND Social Security.

They'll NEVER stop trying.
