The "authorities" involved in any given witch hunt will always pound their chests and proclaim its legality. Ask those authorities involved in 1692. All "legal." But did that make it right?
The big difference is that at least the authorities involved in 1692 had something to show for their waste of time and money after the fact--even if it was the murder of a number of innocent women (and men), it was something I suppose. The only folks burned at the stake in this modern day witch hunt (besides the taxpayers) has been a few scapegoats involved in some unrelated activity that under any other circumstance would have been declared worth neither the time of the prosecutor nor the ungodly amount of wasted taxpayer money.
That is their prerogative. They should be careful in how they do it though after this two year investigation that yielded nothing on Americans with regard to Russia. Americans watching are very tired of all of it and will not appreciate endless hearings that are politically motivated.
Exactly why it should be behind closed doors. We don't need another performance like we saw with Cohen's testimony.

Let's face it, the problem is the people who support Democrats. There is no lie they won't believe and/or parrot, as long as it furthers their hateful vendetta against the rest of us. These attacks on Trump are attacks on patriotic Americans who oppose the destroy America agenda of the left, make no mistake about it.
They completely ignore the facts for sure. If it doesn't fit their narrative it isn't worth their attention.
Problem is, the monster will eat its own. We are seeing that happening now. Even Chelsea Clinton was attacked verbally as being responsible for the NZ massacre! How crazy is that?
trump apparently does not know the definition of illegal. Unsurprising, considering how corrupt trump is. Also unsurprising that trump supporters also do not know the definition.
