I find it TOTALLY odd you cited the feminist as the bad cooking component, instead of the more obvious, vegan.
even though i am pretty much a carnivore(member in good standing of people eating tasty animals), vegan cooking can be quite tasty as well. for instance, carls jr/hardees has their beyond famous star "burger". the patty is vegetarian, but does actually taste like real meat.
and i know, some are going to insult fact food as being what ever they are going to say. my advice is try it first.
and then there is stuff like babaganoush, very tasty and made with eggplant. dont judge vegan and vegetarian cooking until you have actually sampled it from good cooks.

There is nothing wrong with the food itself, it's the people, the vegans especially. They are just wayyyyyy too preachy and nasty for me. I don't find that to be the case with vegetarians though. They seem to mind their business more IMO. I'm a carnivore as well, just thought I'd chime in on that lol.

Really? I've found more often it's the people who do eat meat that give vegans and vegetarians a hard time about it, with everything from stupid jokes ("Vegetarian-old Indian word for bad hunter, hur hur") to irrelevant factoids about cavemen or canine teeth to insults and name-calling (soy-boy) to macho posturing ("I didn't climb to the top of the food chain to eat plants") to utter nonsense such as expressing concern for the well-being of the poor plants we eat.

OK, once in a while you read something that just makes you laugh out loud!
Vegan protesters brought the central business district in Melbourne, Australia, to a halt for two and a half hours on Monday morning. In Queensland, activists broke into a slaughterhouse and negotiated the release of three sheep.

How do people know you are Vegan to start making these jokes and such?

I agree. The vegans tend to be more passive aggressive and aloofly morally superior about the whole thing where the meat eaters as you describe tend to be rude and stupid individuals that often don't even realize the extent of their sins.
