Why is there no consistency among those who feel women shouldn't be forces to care for another life?

I don't work outside the home, and I still eat. In fact I'm making a boneless leg of lamb for dinner tonight.

Women can choose to have sex, they can also choose to remain pregnant if she gets pregnant or not to remain pregnant. Just like you can choose to remain employed or not.

Why do you think your morality should be put on people you don’t even know.

Food stamps, food banks, plant a garden, churches with free meals, shelters with the same. Are you contending people are starving in the streets when unemployed? The obesity epidemic disagrees.

Robert Charles: Abortion deeply divides America -- Here's why the debate is suddenly front and center again

Abortion deeply divides Americans. The topic can hardly be raised, without eliciting emotional responses against and for. Since Roe v. Wade, a 1973 Supreme Court decision barring states from restricting abortion, the issue has become overtly political. Now, something new is afoot. The issue seems headed for the Supreme Court – again....
what you see as a great division is a reaction to the legalization of late term abortions.

without that, the equilibrium of pro and con would be stable.

the same applies for all extreme views, the other side reacts in kind. the pendulum swings wide.

now the fight is at the extreme ends of the otherwise stable issue.

Doubt most Americans support late term abortion even if they tolerate some level of legalized abortion

Never had one. I knew how to use birth control. It was pretty simple, actually.

Unless you are wealthy enough that you don't have to work, you are either laboring for your food or relying on another's labor.

If you are on food stamps, you are living off another's labor. If you are going to a food bank, you are living off another's labor.

Why are you unable to grasp this?

No state has recently legalized elective third trimester abortions. Every state already allows third trimester abortions in some cases.
