A question I’ve never figured the answer to

The doctor will not agree. Also, in the last month of pregnancy, that would be induced labor resulting in early delivery, or a C-section.

For late-term abortions due to lack of fetal viability, the woman would have to go to a specialist in late term abortions. There are 3 or 4 in the entire country, in 3 clinics. The cost is $30,000 or so, payable up front. Plus any hospitalization after, plus traveling and hotel expenses, plus any incidental expenses. No one does that for funsies. They do it because the fetus is dying, dead, or delivering it would seriously harm or kill the mother.

please don't try to quote law without actually ... quoting the law. If you're correct - awesome, thank you. But I'm not "anti-abortion" and what I have read from pro-choice sources is that the woman's choice still matters, even at delivery.

Because those strangers won't keep their hands out of everyone's pockets!

And frankly, if you can't refer to your "opposition" as either pro-choice or pro-life instead of pejoratives, go ahead and mark yourself as an extremist.
The Greek playwright Aristophanes noted the abortifacient property of pennyroyal in 421 BC. So yeah, millennia.

Not all abortions are covered by the gov't, ie Medicaid. Many are covered through private insurance. If Medicaid, it's less expensive to do an abortion than to have that child and mother covered by taxpayer Medicaid for years after.

Bingo.

The government forcing women to bear children is slavery.

If you don't want to have an abortion, fine. But to force women to bear children that they can't afford and don't want is slavery.

If you want to debate the law, cool, but that last line in bold is also not quoting the law(take your own advice). You seem to have read some pro life blog and assumed it was fact.

Why would you compromise on your rights ???? Even if you disagree that there is a right to abortion, someone would have to be pretty spineless if they believed in it and compromised.

The same is true vice versa with a "right to life"

Thats one of the main reasons there is a divide in the gay community between the activist and the "late in lifers"

Yes, millennia, back to ancient Egyptian, Greek and Roman civilizations. Not always successfully and definitely not always safely but in reality, probably further back than that.

And I used no pejorative. I am under no obligation to refer to the anti-choice movement inaccurately, just because they prefer it that way. If they were actually pro-life, they would care about all lives, such as the women who have died and would again if abortion were outlawed. So I use the accurate term anti-choice, because that's the goal, preventing women from exercising dominion over their own bodies.
