Then you don't believe her account. I do. She said he touched and rubbed her leg and she kept moving away and saying no before she got out of there. I believe the trooper approached her to meet with the governor under false pretenses, because she asked the trooper why he wanted to see her.

I'm not sure why you are so adamant about what didn't happen unless you were in that room. I tend to believe her story. If she wanted to lie she could have made up something much worse than what she said happened.

BTW, I have had business meetings in hotel rooms, for convenience sake. No big deal.

He's not a rapist. It was consensual. Congress had no business getting into his private affairs. Clinton screwed up by lying about it. He should have told everyone to stay out of his private life. But politicians can't. They are often enough trying to run peoples lives. It's in the blood of the big government freaks. GTFO of our private lives. Bought and paid for posers.

Clinton and other Presidents should have been booted for UnConstitutionally sending our troops into battle without Congressional approval. THAT was offense.

I don't disbelieve her story. I find it doubtful that she was unaware that the governor had a reputation for cheating on his wife, I find it doubtful that she didn't wonder if sex was a possibility when she went to the hotel room. Did he make sexual advances? I absolutely believe that he did. Did she turn him down? I absolutely believe she did. Did it rise to the level of sexual harassment? I don't think it did. She wants to argue that her career suffered, but there isn't evidence that it did. She was a low-level clerk, she didn't have much in the way of skills, she left her job when she went on maternity leave, when she came back, someone else was doing her job, and the job they gave her wasn't all that great. I don't think that Clinton engineered that, I don't think that there was some conspiracy engineered by the governor to punish her for turning him down. I don't think she even made much of an impression on the governor. She went on with her life, and Clinton went on with his.

Popularity? Nope. It was severely damaged. It was so damaged that Al Gore saw Clinton as a political liability in 2000 and asked his own President to stay out of the campaign.

I'm saying that most of these women never accused Clinton of rape.

Not according to Monica. And she's the one who gets to say so.
