Psychiatrist:
Let me get this straight. If you had the chance to get out of the Bronx you mean to tell me you would consider coming back?
AOC:
But of course ....I promised to fight for illegal immigrants, event the ones that came here legally!
Psychiatrist:
I need a drink!
AOC:
Sorry, I'm unemployed right now.
I’ve been reading about AOC traveling all over the country and involving herself in all sorts of national and international affairs. I’ m originally from the Bronx and know that it is one of the poorest districts in the nation. But I do not see her representing her district. I read newspaper articles chronicling the crime and poor conditions in her district yet I hear nothing about her fixing these conditions in her district. Is she too busy being an overnight sensation? AOC please represent your district!
You do realize that in addition to representing a particular district members of Congress also make decisions and vote on a wide range of both domestic and international issues that affect our country?
It was a big loss to NYC to lose Joe Crowley as Congressman for AOC. He had 20 years experience and was on many committees and would have been able to bring more funds to the neighborhood. AOC seems more interested in her career than helping her constituents
I have heard she was hand picked by the Dems. If so, wonder how that will work out in the long run. Of course she had a lot of contact with the public, tossing drinks and running around probably flirting while delivering them. I don't know much about the Bronx and would not want to insult anyone, but it does make me wonder how bright the people are to have voted for her?

We all know that, but an elected officials, fist responsibility is to those who help them get elected. it is not to see what outlandish thing you can say each day, just to get attention. Or let's hope that is why she says what she does.
!She helped cause the problem!!! She said there was no crisis, then when she finally goes down she says Trump is causing the crisis!! WTF?
She is a Marxist loon. I'm not saying that just as a derogatory slap, she is literally insane. Quite a few of them have revealed that they are. Every time AOC goes on one of her transparent mind screws the rest follow like good little lemmings because they have to protect the party as she pours gas and lights a match.
The whole thing is becoming unhinged.
So true. On a positive note, her ludicrous and feckless presentations (not excluding the rest of the dem candidates) will guarantee President Trump's 2nd Term of Office!!!
Congress ppl have more responsibilities in government than just their local districts. It just so happens she actually takes those responsibilities seriously and is quite busy doing her job, and that includes the bronx. I'm not certain what more you want her to do. She only got sworn in in Jan, and you want her to cure the social economic ills of the bronx in a few months? LOL
Being honest might help....rather than fake crying over an empty parking lot .

You people got something against QUEENS? The majority of her district is there, and not The Bronx. I lived in East Elmhurst, Queens, for 10 years about 30 years ago. Even then, it was majority Hispanic. That the people of her district in Queens elected her over some old incumbent white dude, doesn't surprise me at all even decades later.
It will be interesting to see if her district supports her to continue....most likely yes....I will miss her if she goes back to being a bar maid.
One of the reasons why people in districts like hers remain poor is that they listen to and believe in charlatan's and populist's rants. And I'm non-partisan on this one; much of Red Trumpland is that way too.

Heard from who?
Like her or not, she ran a strong campaign and Crowley took the campaign for granted.
