There is a gun violence problem in this country.
If the NRA really cared about the legit, law abiding gun owners they would be all about sitting down and addressing the issue. Instead they just SCREAM 2nd Amendment and stomp their feet.
I don't know if there is any more gun legislation that could help reduce but we will never know if we don't have constructive dialogue instead of both sides just yelling at each other.

Hahaha. Consider the source of the ludicrous comment. State govt is run by religious freaks. The out of state transplants cannot come quickly enough. But, we don’t really need more illegals, refugees or even “legal” immigrants.
If El Paso, Dayton, Las Vegas, Pittsburgh Synagogue, etc, had been committed by all brown Muslim men, I can only imagine what you and all the other conservative posters would be saying about terrorism being out of control.
And on the flip side, we know liberals would deflect and find every excuse in the book for it had it been committed by a minority.
Terrorism is terrorism, time to call it for what it is without the political BS. It's no different if it's committed by a white dude from Ohio or a Muslim from Afghanistan. People die either way.
Trump's inflammatory racist language is not helping. Less than a day prior to the El Paso shooting, Trump re-tweeted Katie Hopkins, a racist demagogue who called immigrants "cockroaches" and "feral humans."
Words matter. Charles Manson never killed anyone; but he used words to incite and inspire his followers to do the killings for him.
There's a period between 15 and 25 when young men (like I used to be) do not have very good judgement. Yes, this is obvious I know. It takes a good long while to get used to testosterone...it's a hell of a drug. Most of us limit it to an occasional bar fight at worst.
