And no, I'm neither a Trump supporter nor a Republican.
That's not what I'm inferring.

Beto, Kamela and Cotton Eyed Joe all need to go back to their day jobs.

Just kidding, since only one of them has a day job.

That's because Dems don't consider coming here illegally as tantamount to murder like Republicans seem to.

It's against the law yes, but the R attitude that says lets just rip apart families that have been here for many years is disgusting to Ds.

That and the current POTUS built his campaign based on leveling unfair insults to Mexicans, Muslims, people from "****hole" countries, and basically anyone who isn't a well off European.

Absolutely. These adults in the room actually know a few things about government, policies, plans, numbers...and they can read, too!

Kloubuchar seems like the most level headed of the bunch.......

Clearly she doesn't stand a chance for the nomination.

I don't know what your last word is supposed to be--something you'd heard on that talk radio some of you apparently listen to?

But Democrats are definitely NOT for open borders. We want enforcement of the laws, border control, and a decent immigration policy. I think maybe some of these candidates are just making talking points--you know, the things they say just to get votes. All politicians do it. They will never get open borders because no one wants that. The senate and the house would not allow them to have open borders. Who would want endless numbers of people emptying out their countries and coming here to sponge off us? No one. Some of them sound like they do, but it's empty words and they wouldn't be allowed to do it anyway. It's something they say just to get some extra votes. Do not worry. We will NEVER have open borders. That would be idiotic.

That's exactly the opposite of what they are saying and promoting.

Reminder: It was Trump who refused to work with Pelosi & Schumer on that, if you recall. They repeatedly tried to schedule meetings, and when they did have meetings, they thought they were close to a deal, but Trump went back on what he'd said. So "no deal."

The Republicans are now a party of total obstruction. This started with Obama winning, when McConnell announced in the Senate that their #1 goal, after Obama won, was to prevent him getting re-elected. That's it. That was their #1 goal. They became total obstructionists, and that's the way they still are.

Democrats believe in government and are more willing to work across the aisle. Because they understand that's how government works. The Republicans, OTOH, don't believe in a democratic government, so they are not inclined to compromise or work together w/the opposition to pass bills.
