From the Air Force who appears willing to contradict their C in C for his theft of funds for military projects
https://www.nbcnews.com/news/militar...risks-n1054091

Likely other arms of the military have similar assessments that tell the truth about how Trump’s thefts are dangerous in various ways
Whether they allow them to be released so the Armed Services committees have something to fight with is difficult to say
Trump is so retaliatory that the people who had access to the AF report are likely going to face punishment
Whether THEY released the info or not
Trump is vindictive and the acting head of DOD is a real sycophant
Anyone who thinks Mattis would have allowed this deprivation to happen works for Trump

Let me get this straight...the left want to cut military spending but when money is taken away it becomes dangerous?

How about using the military to fill your personal coffers? Contracting without benefit of RFP your loser hotels to house military in Scotland.....

I’d call that stealing.

The first priority of our military is to protect our borders. Using military funds for that is more important than bases in Germany or Japan.

Funny thing, hysterical post and report aside, Democrats in Congress can always increase defense funding (or you know, just fund the wall) to make up for any shifted funds. But, like the partisan hacks who care more about scoring partisan points than the national security of our nation that they are, these Democrats have already stated that they won't do so. Still, if its really a matter of national security as congressional Dems claim, they should be jumping up and down to ensure that any gaps are filled, even if it means writing in language that doesn't allow for future transfers. But, no, they are only working to continue #Resisting, their "national security" concerns be damned.

And, fundamentally, as others have mentioned, securing our border IS a national security issue

You're directing your anger at the wrong person...FYI that refueling contract by the air force was sign during the Obama reign.

You incapable of actually comprehending the article?

There's a base in a foreign country that needs upgrades for the safety of our service men.

There's an expansion of a base on US soil for proper storage of over a billion dollars of munitions. Not properly, stored, risk not working when it comes to needing them.

There's a boiler at a base in Alaska that is on the verge of failure in an area that gets to -65. The base would need to be evacuated within hours and within hours will be frozen, costing tens of millions more than just putting the boiler in now.

This whole wall is ignorant. Border Patrol for the past couple decades hasn't been pushing for this. The GOP had Congress and the the White House and still couldn't approve it.

We close foreign bases and use that money to fund the wall.

It's pretty simple.
