That's quite a mental leap. I said no such thing. Whether Hunter or Joe Biden could be criminally prosecuted by a Ukrainian prosecutor is a question independent from whether Trump can use public office to induce a foreign leader to commence such a prosecution - particularly where, as here, the absence of any indicia of wrongdoing makes such a prosecution problematic.
The Democrats can investigate Trump for political gain. Trump can investigate Democrats for political gain. Neither of them can use public office to induce a foreign country to start a criminal investigation of the other. This should all be fairly self-evident.

There's a clear and obvious conflict of interest, and a quid pro quo interaction involving Biden... so how do you say with a straight face that there's no indication of wrongdoing? Also, no one said anything about prosecution, just "looking into" the situation.... do no one "induced a foreign country to start a criminal investigation". It's possible to look into a situation without stating a formal investigation.
Again, you've got nothing on Trump because he specifically didn't do what Biden did.

Reason: Typo

You have a temporal problem with this little bit of fake news, the investigation of Burisma happened in 2012. Hunter Biden did not start working for Burisma until 2014.

Evidently many Dems and Republicans would disagree with you. Thus, the articles of impeachment. Read what Lindsey Graham said about impeachment in 1999, although he says the opposite today. It's to cleanse the office. And if there ever were an office that needed the stench cleaned out of it, it is the WH under Trump.
Democrats are not used to someone who will fight back.
Nice to see them struggle.
Likely voters support Trump by about 49% these days. It doesn't matter what "the people" think, since most of them won't vote.
Yeah, it's a real virtue to fight back when a separate branch of government is doing their constitutional duty because a president is abusing his power and oath of office. How did we get to this place?

Biden did not have a conflict because Shokin was not investigating his son or his son's company. Biden was acting on behalf of and at the behest of the US Government on a formal diplomatic mission with directions to advance official US policy including, in relevant part, the removal of Shokin due to his well-documented corruption. Ironically, Shokin's removal actually made it more likely that Hunter Biden's son's company would be investigated. This has been discussed ad naseum and, if you don't understand it by now, its because you are either unwilling or unable to do so.

Yeah... and the investigation didn't go away until they hired Biden's son, someone with no qualifications other than having his father's ear, and then Biden threatening to withhold billions in aid unless the prosecutor going after the company was fired. It seems the 50k a month they were paying Biden's son paid off.
If this was a situation involving Don Jr and Trump there's no way you'd have the same opinion.
