New York magazine had a set of cover stories last month on impeachment. Of the several pieces, the most useful is Jonathan Chait's run-down of categories and evidence for impeachment. Very clear and well done. I particularly like the use of "fomenting."

Do you recall the last president who was impeached? Oh yes, it was Clinton! And democrats still love him just as much as they ever did before! I think his approval ratings actually went up slightly after he was impeached. Maybe Trump should be hoping for impeachment, since there is a very important election coming up?

If you are unable to see the difference between a president who was faulted for lying only about his personal sex life, and a president has had a lifelong path of unethical, even criminal, behavior with now a growing list of impeachable offenses that are directly related to his attempts to enrich himself or stay in power ... well, I don't really know how to speak to that level of obliviousness.

I'm sure they can see the difference it's just that Bill Clinton was a Democrat and supported a woman's right to choose, the gay agenda, and environmental preservation and was therefore working for Satan. Trump is giving the religious right everything they want and that is why he's so popular and it's why most people don't care about the crimes he has committed.

This has been a daily thing for you for the past 3 years. I'm not sure how someone like you can deny TDS is real when you so obviously are afflicted by it.
What category does sticking a cigar in a womans private area and lying about it fall under?
I'm not talking about whether we may find it distasteful. This thread is about impeachable offenses. I have the feeling that Trump's private sex life may not be so appealing, either.

I think you're right, but what continues to puzzle me is why religious people would so slavishly follow such a sinful, un-Christian man.

As I just posted elsewhere, I think that anyone who imagines any of these things are "certain" - convinced of impeachment, convinced of Trump's re-election, anything - is either delusional or uninformed.
