People who want to go back to earning a living are whackos? Who is paying you?
I lost my own job four weeks ago. Not for the first time in my life. I have been in the work force for fifty years and endured many job losses and economic setbacks.
But these people are wackos. These political stunts (funded by the super-rich DeVos family) will not be viewed favorably by the general public.
If any one of those COVIDiots end up getting an infection that requires hospitalization, they should be forced to pay 100% out of pocket for all medical expenses. Insurance companies should deny their coverage. Simultaneously, they should be IDed and humiliated publicly for their stupidity.
Whitmer went too far and doubled down when criticized about it. She is acting like a tyrant. I like the spirit of the protest, no so much in the execution of it. It would have been better if people protested outside, had on masks and made more of an effort to distance.
It would have given it more credence, unfortunately this is going to get covered as it's just bunch of ignorant rednecks out waving guns around. I'm not saying that I necessarily agree with that, it's just how it's going to get covered in the media.
The media of course will spin it that way and not concede that maybe Whitmer might have gone too far and people are sick of not being able to do some of the things that they want, like go out on a boat or their vacation homes. I forget all of the dumbass rules she put in place but it was too much.
You mean true Americans that won't stand for their RIGHTS to be trampled? People that have read the Constitution and realize government does NOT GRANT RIGHTS so they can not take them away. Politicians need to FEAR citizens not the other way around like it has become.
Terrorists. Wacko terrorists is all they are. America is failing.
Lefties insist she is well liked and commands a great deal of support. I just don't see it. Most people I know don't like her, and many despise her after she started behaving like a power hungry tyrant looking to restrict every last drop of freedom she could. A lot of people think she's well on her way to destroying Michigan the way Granholm did. The very young folks either don't remember or weren't badly effected by the crippling recession experienced under the last democrat governor, but they might be getting an education on liberalism in action, and the negative consequences soon enough.
Seems that Michigan residents prefer the Governor's actions on COVID-19 over the President's.
