Interesting. She looks more like an anime character to me but guess that’s not where she got it from. Looks like more white people getting on her. It’ll blow over and she’ll be alright after awhile.

So I took a look at the pictures. How is wearing two purple, long "Heidi-like" braids cultural appropriation?

I did a quick google search and braids like she's wearing have been around for thousands of years and worn by Celtic women, Greeks, Chinese, and in Northern Africa (where it originated 6,000 years ago). You can find ancient Roman statues of women with similar hairstyles.

Where do people get that braids belongs to one culture? What culture would that be? And where do they get no one else is allowed to do it aside people of that culture?
