Yeah, agreed. But Trump is Trump, as we all know.

To expect every speech he gives to be "statesman-like" in general, after seeing him in action for 3 1/2 years, is to live in a fantasy world.

It's very clear that COVID-19 had escaped from the lab in Wuhan. When WHO inspected the Wuhan lab, they noted many safety protocols had been violated. For example, some of the freezer drawers that held virus samples lacked seals on them. The Chicoms ignored that and never fixed them.

We all know that the Chicoms are responsible for this nightmare. Even worse, they hid the fact that the virus had escaped the lab because they wanted to hoard PPEs before other countries would need to buy them.

How can anyone defend the Chicoms?

The CCP Virus most likely started in Wuhan as a form of Bio-terrorism. At least that is what the conspiracy side me thinks. The Chinese communist government most likely backed it and then suppressed it. Calling it Kung flu is funny but doesnt take a way the seriousness of it.
So, why is the US affected the worst coincidentally?

"It's just Trump being Trump" is no excuse. He chose to run for office, it wasn't thrust upon him.

It's not too much to expect him to have shown some basic interest in civil leadership and maturity.

Most of my family are Rs from red states. They no doubt voted for the man. They are horrified, embarrassed and fear for the direction the country is going. And they hold Trump accountable for a good part of it. They won't make that same mistake twice.

Everyone who voted for Trump, especially those in states he barely won, are held accountable for this mess too.

At least some of your family came around.

Looking forward to January 20. Hopefully it will be a peaceful exit but I'm predicting it won't be. I can hear his cry of voter fraud now even though it will be a landslide loss. A lot more damage is likely when all is said and done.
