He also told the Republicans in the Senate to not pull any shenanigans challenging the electoral college vote on 1/6.

He's a total POS, but he's not stupid. He knows Trump is toast and any BS objection would be useless anyway since Democrats control the House. He's senator for life in his safe seat, so he takes most (if not all) of the heat for the other Republican senators.

Mitch got what he wanted from Trump's term. Time to move on.

So McConnell called him President Elect at the point when the big guy in fact became President Elect. Cool story...

Hate to break it to Mitch, but he can not "tell" Republican senators not to challenge the electoral college vote. He can ask, he can urge, he can plead ..... but he can not tell them. Sorry about that.
