Having worked with younger people I find them to be,by and large incredibly lazy and rather ignorant.

And we are worse than the "shaft every generation younger than us" generation? Sure. The generation that has decided to spend trillions of dollars of social security and medicare money simultaneously eliminating corporate retirement packages, shafting younger generations..

I didnt hear anyone blaming anyone. No, young people are not all like that. That would not happen in my area. If a kid were that arrogant and disrespectful (hope you dont mind me borrowing your words bbkaren), the others on the train would have shut her down real quick.
Id much rather be in the company of a funny old person than a young rude obnoxious brat.
