On Sunday, Lia Thomas, 22, put in an astounding performance at the Zippy Invitational Event in Akron, Ohio, that saw her finish the 1,650 yard freestyle 38 seconds ahead of her teammate Anna Sofia Kalandaze."

Lia Thomas used to be Will Thomas. Is this fair? Women are starting to complaint that this is a disgrace to women's sports.
Shameful. And some women actually welcomed this. Pathetic.

These days is the tiny minority who are screaming the loudest, and amplified by their bots on social media, who get to set policies and make the laws which force the majority to comply against their will.

These people are no different than the online gaming community. People want to bask in the glory of being called the best, the fasted, and number one in their field. Some of these people will cheat and steal to be #1.

Because most women agree to issues that doesn't affect them individually regardless of the morality. Where as men are more concerning about broader issues.

strawman argument and faulty reasoning.

No one said what you said.

No one said that *all* women would vote for this. In fact, I stated that I would not think ANY women would vote for this.

Clearly, enough women voted for their own destruction. 10? 20? 1000? million? dunno. The number is not important. The *existence* of the number, is.

I have been having another discussion elsewhere for other reasons about an age old philosophical question: would humans vote (not in the ballot sense but rather decision) for something NOT in their best interest that could cause a very real demise downstream. IT has been posited since the ancient greeks but got more attention since the mid 1800's. The answer is clearly, for anyone not paying attention: yes.

This is just one small part.

So I guess this is totally acceptable until records are broken. Then what?
Pulling up the heats of the Tokyo Olympics, there were 15 women within 2 seconds of the top qualifying time in the 200 free, 18 swimmers within 10 seconds of the top qualifying time in the 400 free (metric equivalent of the 500 yard free) and 30 swimmers within a minute of the top qualifying time in the 1500 M free.

So yeah, getting within a minute of Katie Ledecky in a 1500/1650 is a very significant accomplishment but even 2% is huge in the world of high level sport.

I'm not a conservative. I haven't said every last woman voted for this. I am saying when you vote for today's type of Democrat, you are voting for policies like this. It isn't a surprise to many of us when this stuff happens after voting in people who make these types of policy. Unfortunately it seems to surprise the people who voted Democrat. They seem to be surprised each and every time it happens.

He is a college swimmer, not an Olympian. Comparing his times to the greatest of all time female swimmers seems like a weird way to justify him swimming against female athletes at the college level.
