(CNN) The Biden administration is withdrawing its Covid-19 vaccination and testing regulation aimed at large businesses, following the Supreme Court's decision to block the rule earlier this month.

The US Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration said Tuesday it will be withdrawing the vaccination and testing emergency temporary standard for businesses with 100 or more employees, according to a statement on the agency's website.

Well it’s about time. Good on the Supreme Court for blocking Biden’s unconstitutional mandate.

Yes, how good of them. It should have never gotten that far. Never.

They are a joke, they have left the border to this country wide open and are dispersing citizens from other countries throughout the land without any mandate required of them, and with the expectation that the tax paying workers of this country will support them.

Step off. (and I am using the word "Step" out of manners on this forum).

They also said....

Quote:
The withdrawal of the emergency temporary standard "does not affect the ETS's continuing status as a proposed rule," a US Department of Labor spokesperson told CNN in a statement.

"OSHA is evaluating the record and the evolving course of the pandemic. OSHA has made no determinations at this time about when or if it will finalize a Vaccination and Testing rule. The agency intends to work expeditiously to issue a final standard that will protect healthcare workers from COVID-19 hazards," the spokesperson added.
So regardless of what the SCOTUS said, don't think this is the last time we have heard of this.

I don't know. I'm not so sure.

If there is any bright light to this at all, I think it is that they don't know when to quit. They are out-of-touch because of their own delusions of grandeur. They have over reached, and I think, underestimate that there are still a lot of people in this country that are not afraid of standing up, no matter what they try to threaten us with.

The more they push, the more threats and fear mongering, the stronger the resolve.

The problem is, SCOTUS struck it down only for reason of "who decides". It has nothing to do with the vaccines or freedom. Local government can still mandate, unless SCOTUS raises the question "who decides" further.

Correct.... I find it sad that many miss this. Nobody should be banging the drums of freedom regarding this.

Yet both sides of the political spectrum with use this as ammunition to cause further decisiveness.

OK, so Biden did not withdraw his mandate. Biden simply caved in and followed the SCOTUS order. There is BIG difference between the two decisions, OP. Referring to your post title. You made it sound like as if he finally got some sanity.

The chances of that happening are about the same as a Good Humor bar's chances in hell.
