It will only become another sensationalized scam-demic if we the people let the government do it.

Is this is the next great pandemic hysteria?
As the now famous tweet states - "I can't believe it's Monkey pox season already. I still have my Ukraine decorations up".
Is Monkeypox the new Covid, is Taiwan the new Ukraine, is blue the new black.
No it won't be like 2020 because America has already experienced the mass hysteria and chaos in the beginning of covid. Prior to the pandemic our society only imagined these large scale social decay dramatized in movies, 2020 happened and now we're experienced after the chaos of it, everything after that will be modulated. The only hysteria happening if monkeypox go viral would be the same people hysterical about everything else. It would take another generation or 2 and "normalcy" for society to completly flip out like 2020, but I don't see that happening now as people in general are reverting back to more primitive ways.
How long until this virus is renamed due to “racism?
Lol
Ha! I was thinking the same. Has anyone asked the Monkeys how they feel about having their name linked to a disease? The Woke Left flipped that Trump called Covid 19 the China Flu so why wouldn't they flip over this?
Who is going to stand for the Monkeys of this world?
Biden has already said that everyone should be concerned about the Monkeypox...
Biden once told us rather sternly that "Americans Don't Panic" well he and his ilk certainly like to give us reasons to panic when they fan the flames of a perceived threat to distract from the REAL threats which is the Democrat Party.

Smallpox vaccines can be 85% effective against monkeypox:

Data shows that vaccines that were used to eradicate smallpox are up to 85 percent effective against monkeypox, according to the World Health Organization (WHO).
I've had the smallpox vaccine twice. First as a little kid in the 1950's and again in the army in 1968. Wonder how protected I am?

But we are tired of all the restrictions and shutdowns and vaccine mandates and masking and....
People will panic because the media is making it a panic.
Our President is framing it as a "panic" and God help me, yes, I believe this will be used by some to curtail normal practices hoping for a favorable outcome in upcoming elections.

No. The main stream propaganda machine already said it was rare for people to get.
Can we not lose our ish over another 'virus', when it's not widely spread.
But experts say the outbreak is not likely to evolve into a global health crisis because the disease is not easily transmitted and reported cases remain relatively low.
"It doesn't have that great a transmission ability," said Dr. Seth Blumberg, an infectious disease specialist at the University of California, San Francisco.
There they go with the 'experts' again. At least they actually used a real 'expert' in the field of infectious diseases, and not a chair warmer.
Animal-to-human transmission may occur by bite or scratch, bush meat preparation, direct contact with body fluids or lesion material, or indirect contact with lesion material, such as through contaminated bedding. Human-to-human transmission is thought to occur primarily through large respiratory droplets. Respiratory droplets generally cannot travel more than a few feet, so prolonged face-to-face contact is required. Other human-to-human methods of transmission include direct contact with body fluids or lesion material, and indirect contact with lesion material, such as through contaminated clothing or linens.
Love how the CDC is now stating that 'respiratory droplets cannot travel more than a few feet'....so, yeah, 'social distancing' is all we needed to do, not stupid masks.
Here, they don't even recommend masks for everyone:
Quote:
*Avoid contact with animals that could harbor the virus (including animals that are sick or that have been found dead in areas where monkeypox occurs).
*Avoid contact with any materials, such as bedding, that has been in contact with a sick animal.
Meaning, not your dog or cat that got sick, but a wild animal, or an animal that has been bitten by an animal infected with monkeypox.
Quote:
*Isolate infected patients from others who could be at risk for infection.
*Practice good hand hygiene after contact with infected animals or humans. For example, washing your hands with soap and water or using an alcohol-based hand sanitizer.
Once the initial hysteria over Covid was over, people stopped doing this. How dumb are people? You still need to wash your hands to prevent getting all kinds of illnesses - the cold, the flu, Norwalk, etc. But people never learn.
Quote:
*Use personal protective equipment (PPE) when caring for patients.
Meaning: Not everyone just walking around.
I put that there in case they decide to turn this monkey car around in the future.
