I would feel really bad for the big multinational corporations that would have to rush a vaccine. They would have to go in overdrive, maybe even "Warp Speed" (this one is for all you "conservative" Trump fans. They will have to produce vaccines 24/7 and provide it to every single America, for FREE!!!!

a few years ago there was an outbreak of monkeypox in the Midwest. One or two people dies, others very ill. The outbreak was traced to a guy that imported gambian rats from Africa ( exotic pet category). not unusual for animals to carry this disease.
Many many years ago when W.H.O announced that smallpox had been eliminated from the earth and they could stop with the smallpox vaccine, those idiots didnt consider Africa and how the smallpox vaccine protected against monkeypox. In Africa the disease can be very disfiguring and disabling esp in children. Why would W.H.O. care. So other outbreaks have been traced to animals or someone visiting Africa.
Until this one. Monkeypox affected anyone that came in contact with the virus. Men, women, children. This sounds like either the virus has mutated or gain of function is playing a role.
