Rather than assigning wholesale blame to a medication without evidence, perhaps it should be considered that some of these young people were deprived of effective treatment for mental illness.

Or perhaps young people have inappropriate access to high-powered weaponry.

Food for thought.

They also almost always went to school, had parents, and ate cereal. I heard some even slept in a bed.

It's hilarious watching the conservatives try to come up any other blame or cause they can make up for these mass shootings in their desperate attempt to avoid dealing with the one and only obvious one: Easy access to firearms in a society where they are protected as a "right."

News to me. I am familiar that shooters have been on psychotropic drugs like Ritalin. SSRI six a new one on me. I have never heard of them before. Mental illness and depression/anxiety drugs have long been connected with mass shooters.

But = guns bad.

One in six Americans takes an antidepressant.

One in six Americans definitely don't go on shooting sprees.
