The wish to spend $500 billion in total, with $300 billion going towards 'climate change' goals, is the exact reason the Democratic Party needs to and deserves to lose bigly, this November. The irresponsible tone they set is eye-opening and should be ringing alarm bells in the minds of Democratic-leaning voters. During a time of great inflation, the last thing we need to be doing is spending anything.

This has Klaus Schwab, of the World Economic Forum, written all over. He supports large amounts of spending, to the point where it crashes the economy, so there can be a "reset".

From the article:

The package would primarily focus on health care, energy, and taxes. One source told NBC News that the “ceiling” for climate change funding would be capped at $300 billion, making it a significant fixture of the package. Another provision that would allow Medicare to negotiate the price of prescription drugs would be expected to save money.

This would allow for Senate Democrats to potentially include extending enhanced Obamacare subsidies in the bill, which would cost $220 billion if the subsidies were extended permanently, according to the Congressional Budget Office (CBO).

Manchin has not nixed the enhanced Obamacare package, although the senator, according to a NBC News source, said he is exploring options to continue the subsidies at a lower cost.
Of course, they have a way to "pay" for it, too. From NBC News: https://www.nbcnews.com/meet-the-pre...ikes-rcna36818

Goldwein estimated that restoring the pre-Trump system could save as much as $200 billion over 10 years, which could go toward bolstering ACA benefits. But it may face opposition from Democrats as it would blunt some of the consumer savings from the funding.
Eliminating tax cuts will stifle growth, which is exactly what you do not want to do during a recession. It is almost as though the Democratic Party is purposefully trying to trash the U.S. economy, likely to push 'The Great Reset', courtesy of Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum.

$300 billion won't be enough. That might cover relocation or securing of essential coastal naval and port facilities and some airports and maybe some highways or bridges. Folks smugly thinking their coastal property is high enough to be safe from the sea level rise and storm surges will experience eminent domain claims for the new relocated sewage plant.

And I want to fly in the sky, that doesn't mean it's going to happen.

America is 1 country. Dozens of countries are just trying to survive and don't have the luxury to spend billions on global warming and $60K depreciating asset Teslas.

Earth doesn't need your man made money. It will be just fine.

this basically sums up how the left think (or don’t)

leaving the next generation indebted to a leviathan centralized government where China is the world superpower (who will be doing absolutely nothing for the environment) will create more human suffering than the “climate” could.

So both parties seemed to determine to create a centralized govt..

Republicans can longer claim to be the govt. of less govt./rules/regulations just different.

Here's an unorthodox proof that climate change hysteria is a hoax.
