I don't recall being asked if the country wanted to "transition to green energy". This should be put up for referendum and vote by the people, not forced on us by the government. They are our representatives, not our masters.
$300 billion won't be enough. That might cover relocation or securing of essential coastal naval and port facilities and some airports and maybe some highways or bridges. Folks smugly thinking their coastal property is high enough to be safe from the sea level rise and storm surges will experience eminent domain claims for the new relocated sewage plant.
