I think that's much healthier than being a repressed, sexual person who feels ashamed by their own thoughts and feelings. Those creepy, sexually repressed pubs are always the ones who end up raping children or paying for prostitutes and then going home to their wives, patting themselves on the back for being more righteous and upstanding than gay guys in biker outfits.
rowr, kitten.
There's a wide gulf between being gay and preferring the comfort of someone your own gender ... and liking to put on dog masks, collars, leashes and hang out in cages.
Somehow you find a like-minded individual - and btw, do you take turns or is it also imperative to find an owner and a pet? - and practice it in the comfort of your private residence? Go for it. Desire or demand approval from the public at large for your mental issues masked as deviance? Not so much.

This is just a preview event. The main even, the Folsom Street Fair, occurs next month. That will be another super-spreader event, like Gay Pride Maspalomas 2022 on Gran Canaria and Daddyland Festival Dallas 2022.
Previous Folsom Street Fairs have included S&M demonstrations and men having sex with men openly on the sidewalk. There is no disease on earth that will prevent some gays from getting their sex. For some, their entire life evolves around sex to the point it's like OCD. Add drugs like meth and it's even worth.
Folsom Street Fair is the most depraved abomination of them all.
you seem to know a little too much about this stuff.
Because sexual compulsion is the strict domain of gay people said Hunter Biden. Straight people are as pervy or worse in some cases. Sometimes I swear straight people like anal sex more than gay people. Just surf a straight porn site for 2 minutes and you will see for yourself.
I don't have much direct experience with either, but it would be very odd for heterosexual couples that participate in anal sex to be a higher % per capita than gay men.

Straight men don't even begin to approach gay men in the reckless sexual abandon dept. I can't think of similar events for the straight community in the SF Bay Area or elsewhere.
The Folsom Street Fair is not strictly a gay event, but for whatever reason the gays seem to be the most in your face about it.
If they want to risk any pox to get a piece, that's their business. Their bodies, their choice
But, that wasn't said about COVID was it?

I think some of us are just shocked that the community there isn't taking monkey pox seriously. Plus, I don't think most LGBTQ+ actually have these "fetishes" in addition to their sexual preferences. My bet is that some of the community find this just as appalling as some here on the forum. Certainly you don't think this is the way that ALL people in the LGBTQ+ community carry on do you?

Being naked and hugging, etc. when one is in a high risk group for a circulating virus, in this case monkey pox. Even a lesion on the skin can spread the infection, sharing a towel, a piece of clothing.............Actually, again, these are people in the community that have additional sexual fetishes, and a sexual fetish is like an addiction, got to have it! I don't think you understand about fetishes, the leather, the naked, having sex in public............ Yeah, not simply sexual preference here, but sexual fetishes.

We need to give CA to Mexico too! They might be able to untangle the mess that it is.

"Yes, you may be naked at either or both of our street fairs. Per a law banning street nudity in San Francisco, permitted street fairs like ours are exempt. So please dress up to come on down and then strip down to whatever you like. We have coat and clothes check service on site. Nude is not lewd at our events."
The rule on sexual activity is 1. verbal warning to take it indoors 2. Ejection from the fair 3. Citation I can see that people who are sexually attracted to one another and standing around naked and hugging.......well, I am older, but I can still figure out the issue with this.
I did not click on any of the other "information" on the website. I am still convinced that these people have fetish issues in addition to their sexual preferences. Sexual fetishes can take over one's life, basically growing into an addiction if not one from the get-go.

There are talking about an "event", and doing more than "viewing", of course, some will be naked and others trying to have sex, but they will intervene on the sex, or so the rules say for the Folsom Street Fair. See above.
You have no choice if you live in the SF Bay Area like I do.
Plus, it pays to know the info so you can counter people like yourself.
I'm hetero and married, so I don't know what "people like yourself" is supposed to mean.
Sorry the dry humor/sarcasm wasn't obvious.
It must be odd to live in SF and be a hetero male. Maybe the majority of first impressions is "oh, they must be gay living in SF". If it's like it sounds, I think I'd wear a sign or - even better - sell a badge that indicated "Not gay". (you know, like an Antifa A or a little rose).
Viewing any parade gay or not won’t give you a disease either.
Well. Most people don't want to see straight people broadcast their fetishes in public either
If they want to teach people about the virus, then dress normally
They obviously just want to shock people which is just tacky.
