What was the Harris phrase? Something like "transportation of energy"? Not sure what that means. I don't think she was talking about pipelines or high voltage lines.

I like the hot summers

I'd be perfectly happy with 90' every day, and 68' every night...year round

Not surprised. She’s a piece of garbage just like the rest of them.
Maybe Bernie or the Socialists will kill the bill because it doesn’t spend enough. But, at the end of the Day, Democrats always fall in line, especially when they have the opportunity to screw over the rest of the country.

It doesn't happen often, but here I agree with you. Sinema is a Democrat, so we should hardly be surprised that she voted with the Democrats on this one. She's still better than nearly all the rest of the Dems currently in office.

Last edited by bus man; 08-04-2022 at 08:51 PM.. Reason: Accidentally misspelled Sinema's name

There's money there literally she wanted some tax breaks for high income investors ie potential donors.

But again after the hostage video of Dem rep Maloney obviously forced or leveraged into retracting her statement Sinema might have a political gun pointed at her.

Every American is liable for the deficit. Taxes will have to go up. As the Fed tries to quell inflation, the interest rates go up on that deficit we are all in major financial trouble. It will hurt everyone. Big business, small business, more inflation, higher prices all around . We are watching the slow destruction of our economy. I see cars repossessed, homes in foreclosure, people in food lines with nothing to give them. The elites are destroying all of the middle class. More major spending means more inflation .
