Yeah, the opinion of some, while other reputable sources are saying it will have little to no impact.

I’m guessing it will have no real impact on inflation, but CNN loves to pump up anything related to Democrats or Joe Biden. Gotta make this dumpster fire of an administration and these ridiculous Democrat politicians look good for November!

I thought they were different. Turns out, they're true lefties and just as bad as RINOs.

I won't make that mistake again.

wrong...97% of economists are in consensus, that this will NOT lower inflation, but will actually raise it for 3-5 years before it does finally go down...so yeah t will lower it 5-8 years out.... think about that for a second...10+% inflation for 3-5 more years...we are truly screwed

Yes! That Rivian R1S SUV I’ve had my eye on is around $100K, so that $8,000 subsidy really helps to bring the price down to a much more manageable level.

Wow, aren’t Democrats amazing? I’m going to vote for them in November! So green!

I actually had to read the bill for work. It's going to increase inflation because the spending happens in the first 1-2 years and the "revenue" occurs over rather smoothly over a 10 year period. So we're dumping about $400b into the economy right now and recovering it mostly in years 3-10.

Sinema's attack on buybacks is going to hurt the capital markets. Buybacks are just a tool that companies use to balance their overall capital structure in response to market conditions; now, companies will have to think twice about levering up and de-levering as conditions change.

Yep! So odd to think that you can buy A HOUSE in some parts of the country for as much as these EVs cost.

And before anyone mentions something like the Chevy Volt or Nissan Leaf as being “cheap” and “plentiful” — not everyone wants a little car, and not everyone can afford to buy a vehicle just for “around town” and another for road trips.

But this is how our elitist Democrats tend to think! Same with subsidies for solar panels. Even with that 26-30% rebate, it’s not like poor people are going to go out to buy solar systems for their homes. They’re still expensive, take a long time to pay for themselves, and most people unfortunately acquire loans to pay for them.

Maybe that will be our next crisis! Solar loan forgiveness!
