Cry me a river.
The FBI agents don't have the time, knowledge, or clearance to sift through Trump's paperwork, classified documents, nuclear secrets, Putin Christmas cards, letters, golf score cards, and McDonald's receipts. If it is there, take it and have someone qualified review it and decide later. Someone very close to Trump, maybe family or his valet or very close comrade blew the whistle and offered a credible tipoff. His staffers didn't know there was a safe, but somebody did.

That will depend on if weisselberg wants to die in state prison

The judge set an October trial date for the case against the former president's company and its former chief financial officer, Allen Weisselberg.”

Who abuses power when the party in office investigates those that are members of the party which is out of office?

The FBI knew there was a safe. They had been there before, remember. They had been shown around. They were looking for presidential records that he may still have had.

Republicans any time a black guy gets killed:

“LAW AND ORDER! LAW AND ORDER!”

Republicans when the FBI investigates Trump:

“Defund the police!”
