Not only Chicago and Milwaukee, but Florida and North Dakota and, ...

I worked on Crisis Response teams in Minnesota. The less fortunate show up in droves looking for dental care, housing, ...

An endless stream of people with a newly acquired disability that prevents them working move to Minnesota to await their SSDI determination.

In Minnesota, they can get a small benefits check, food stamps, and subsidized housing. They can eke out an existence that is simply not possible in other states such as Wisconsin.

If you are Republican and truly feel America is a red country, there is only one thing to do... insist on abolishing the EC and use the popular vote.

Where I live, it's been a major adjustment. I live in a very red state. I live in a Republican area. I didn't move there because of the political party in charge. I moved where I did, in spite of it. I was offered a job. I went wherever I could make money. It was about a career move. So far I have tried my best to make it my home.

I mentioned demographics as far as voting is concerned. One group bucking the trend is African-Americans. African-Americans are going wherever the cost of living is less, or where they can make money (or more money). The political party in charge isn't making much of a difference.
Do what I did. Quit your job, move and start over.

You don't have to stay tied to the job you have. You can get another one doing the same or even something different.

Here is the thing with gentrification.

If we leave failing towns/cities alone, not bringing people and businesses in, then those living there have a much harder time moving up the ladder. We get called racist.

If we invest into these communities and people move in bringing employment and opportunity, we get vilified for ruining it for people because of gentrification.

Can't win either way with some people.

All Republicans are now terrorists - MSNBC's Tiffany Cross agrees

"This past Tuesday, Democrat adviser Kurt Bardella called all Republicans a “domestic terrorist cell.” MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross agreed and said there should be no distinction between Republicans and “right-wing extremists.”"

MAGAs seem to think everyone else hates them as much as they hate everyone else. Everyone else knows MAGAs are projecting.

No one else suggests separation 'into red and blue', and no one else advocates for civil war. This is completely one sided.

So you are completely wrong in your claim: one side hates, the other side is just a bit tired and disgusted by it all.
Bingo and beautiful. A rep for you. I think you are spot on. Of the 13 people I know that have voted for Trump, only 3 have been radicalized to the point where they've lost friends and family. These are the die hard super MAGA's and they are giving up loved ones for an ideology and a former disgraced, twice impeached loser that keeps losing elections not once, but 3 cycles now. It that smart? Heck no, but that's how psych ops work. Be it Q-Anon, a religious cult, or a political ideology. It's the same playbook. Fear monger, rage porn, the other side needs to be hated, I'm the only one that can fix it, now give me your money. Some people are just easy sheeple and emotional thinkers.

Look at all those people who jumped over the cliff with Jim Jones. It's the same mentality with the die hard Super Maga's. One did say he was throwing in the towel if Lake lost in Arizona. He was convinced that she would over turn the election results putting Trump back in power. If it wasn't so sad it would be laughable.

Those people you can't talk to, like my neighbor. The damage is done and beyond repair now, but they are not the norm. We can get along, heck I have all races in my life and find it richer because of it. There's room for Trump voters as well, just not the radicalized fringe.

The constant call for Republicans to have their own country is ridiculous. Who would subsidize these freeloaders?
True enough.

Nine out of ten of the top taking states are dominated by Republicans, they get more Federal money than they pay in taxes. Nine out of ten of the top giving states are dominated by Democrats, they receive less than they pay out.

Democratic states have, on average, better health outcomes and longer lifespans. The stroke belt, for example, is largely concentrated in red states, yet they oppose national health care which would help them considerably.

Democrats try to promote programs that will improve the lives of all Americans, regardless of where they live. Republicans generally oppose such programs, even though those programs will help the residents of Republican areas.

Republicans calling for a break up of the country is the height of foolishness.

I be curious whether this is true on virtually all countries including even the Nordic ones, that laws and constitution is bent to favor powerful special interests, thus even belligent violations that a first grader can notice can be excused if enough power lobby and control the courts and politics to make the court rule it in their favor up to the equivelent of the supreme court? Thus its only lucky if a court ruling favors the common citizenary and always because one partison branch or special interest stands in that direction. However even if the historical court rulings rule in favor of the citizen out of sheer luck, citizens may still face an uphill battle should they come face to face with the propetrator being a member of the government or a powerful corporation that may "own the government."

...This past Tuesday, Democrat adviser Kurt Bardella called all Republicans a “domestic terrorist cell.” MSNBC’s Tiffany Cross agreed and said there should be no distinction between Republicans and “right-wing extremists.” At the same time, Peter Wehner, a contributing writer for The Atlantic, likened the Republican Party to a “dagger pointed at the throat of American democracy.” All this while the FBI Director Christopher Wray added that any American flying the Gadsden — “Don’t Tread On Me” — flag is suspect of violent extremism...

Forgive my cynicism, but I'd really like to see these quotes in context.
