Cause laws to be created which regulate corporate behavior, then proclaim shock when corporations get involved in the government and the creation of laws. Why is this so shocking to liberals? Common sense would dictate that corporations would get more involved in the laws that are passed to regulate them.

But to equate military presence around the world to preserve the "corporate" way of live is a far stretch, even for liberals. Anyone who thinks that we fought Hitler to save corporate interest needs their head examined.

America didn't have a global military presence until after WWII.

In the aftermath of that conflict, our military-industrial complex grew on the Cold War paranoia. With Russia now only a minor threat, the corporations living on the taxpayers' defense dollars have to find other boogey-men to keep the fear level high enough to maintain their profits and executive perks.

Ike saw it coming over 45 years ago. He's a very under-rated president, IMO.

The military, corporations are under state control, the question is, who runs the state? Certainly not George Walker Bush.

You live in a self-declared free democracy and you have no clue who runs your country. Your men of influence are unelected, we EU citizens have absolutely no influence over EU policies. We are hold in contempt by crooked politicians and shadowy men.
