Well Europe is pretty successful. China is also pretty successful now after suffering their growing pains.
Europe is a capitalist-based society with a measure of socialism. China has been quite successful after they adopted capitalism but were utter failure in a 100% socialist society.
I worked significant time in China, Russia, and Europe and they all use the profit motive to incentivize success.

Some say Illuminati or Bilderbergers. I don't even know what those are except that they have secret meetings by invite only. Some say trilaterl commission. Now they are saying World Economic Forum.

All I know is that all of the western nations are exhibiting the same symptoms of moral and social cultural decline at similar rates to each other. All are being starved of cheap energy under the hoax of impending global climate catastrophe if we don't severely decrease our energy consumption.
Whoever it is, they know that cheap energy is the lifeblood of every rich and prosperous western nation. They know the opposite is true - if you force extremely high energy costs on a nation, the economy will wither and die.
All I know is that whatever global force wants this outcome, need to destroy the economies of the western nations in order to dramatically reduce our economic and political world influence. Then this unknown, un-named, unseen group can implement a defacto world governance.
Some say they want drastic population decrease. Some say they are just power mad. Some say they want to install totalitarian socialism.
I don't know. We are lied to at every turn.
All I know is that all of the Western nations can't be so connected as to be having such similar societal decline at the same rates all over the world. Australia is a freaking island, for heavens sake.

The World Economic Forum is a driving force in the effort to destroy Western Civilization. I think there's always been an intellectual undercurrent that is against capitalism and Western Civilization, and they have indoctrinated many intelligent, wealthy, and powerful people.
I was a Communist/Socialist while in university myself but realized by looking at the countries that were Communist that while it sounds wonderful, it just doesn't work because it violates Natual Law.
I think your post pretty much sums it up. Many academics are drawn to Marxist theory and believe that We should be working towards some utopian world and misbehavior is of environmental factors. Of course this world view ignores the reality that it is both nature and nurture that influence ones behavior but ultimately human being are capable and responsible for their own action. Since academia has a large influence in the business world (most white collar jobs require a degree) the influence flows from one to another.
We could argue that communist influences infiltrated academics from once communist nations. It wasn’t that long ago that about 1/3 of the worlds population was under communist control. Of course they hated western ideas, and like any war, started their own messaging campaigns around the world. Thankfully, communism was exposed for the evil it is and freedom and regulated capitalism has had the upper hand for a while. Who knows how long that will be the case. The current democrat party and many neo-democrats support the primary tenants of Marxism and communism which are one party rule and crush and dissent. That describes the democrat party today.

China successful? How do you define success? Maybe the CCP but not the populous. They are basically slave labor as is the case in any communist run country.

I am not being silly to say that, while I fully recognize it is a much smaller percentage of China's overall population. It is just to show the explosive growth of the Chinese middle class since we built their economy by moving all our manufacturing to China.

Social media is the tool by which all western nations are being targeted all at once. Meta, Twitter and Google are global companies, operating almost everywhere except China. The people orchestrating these nasty changes are those whose families have been in power and wish to stay in power indefinitely. This is literally the top 1% against the 99%, the 1% don't want to share wealth at all.
Fly to Davos in January and you will see. The end goal is a world government, currency, and more power for themselves. The Book of Revelations touches upon it a bit, and the anti-christ even strips them of their powers.
Europe is not. There are lots of issues on the continent that are due to leftist policies. How many people will die this winter in Europe because the elected officials tried to drive the green agenda home?
China is not "pretty successful" either. They have 1.3 billion citizens that are not happy with the lies from their dictator. Things are going to get much, much worse in China.
